What is Planning Essentials?
Apple Planning Essentials with MCC Digital is a series of workshops designed to engage school leadership teams in planning and accelerating a successful deployment with Apple technology.

The workshop helps education leaders imagine new possibilities for teaching and learning with technology through the development of a comprehensive plan that supports their vision.​
Discover the five sessions below:
Vision
Using the school’s vision to drive all decisions and actions, this module helps teams identify their short- and long-term goals. The teams will also discuss ways they can measure progress and set milestones to help them meet their goals.
Deployment
Teams will identify, address and plan the steps needed to set up, deploy and manage devices for students and teachers. The outcome will be a deployment timeline that teams are working towards for their school, group of schools or local authority.
Instructional Readiness
Looks at understanding the school’s teamaligns this with the stages of innovation using the Innovation in Schools book and builds a plan for meeting the needs of all staff members.
Learning Environment
Explores new possibilities for learning and teaching where technology becomes an integral support resource ​for students and teachers. Ultimately, the learning environment can be reshaped to support and inspire completely new opportunities and even influence the vision of what’s possible. We’ll explore the unconscious and conscious messages that our learning environments send, examine the impacts environments have on learning and consider our own learning spaces through this lens.
Communication
Who needs to know and what do they need to know? We’ll help teams identify stakeholders, consider what matters to each group and develop a communications plan to provide an ongoing flow of information back and forth.
